By 4x4 into the Gran Sabana

Explore the vast landscapes of Venezuela’s Gran Sabana by 4x4, traveling through one of the most remarkable regions of the ancient Guiana Shield.

Formed hundreds of millions of years ago, the Guiana Shield has been shaped by immense geological and weathering processes. Today, the Gran Sabana stretches across an undulating plateau at elevations of approximately 800 to 1,500 meters, dominated by the spectacular tepuis that rise dramatically above the surrounding savanna.

Our journey begins in Santa Elena de Uairén and takes us deep into the Gran Sabana, visiting impressive waterfalls, crystal-clear lagoons, rivers and Indigenous Pemón communities along the way.

We travel by 4x4 vehicles and stay overnight at traditional camps in Kumarakapay, Kamoirán and Chivatón, experiencing the extraordinary scenery and atmosphere of Venezuela’s Lost World.
